Created at Cockpit for Southbank Centre

10Mar11

Following on from the success of Bloom, we are really excited to be joining forces on another project with Southbank Centre!

Their newly expanded Festival Terrace Shop, will be re-launching in April with ‘Created at Cockpit’ – a fantastic year-long, rolling programme of concessions by 12 Cockpit  makers.

Every three months, three different designer-makers will showcase their work in dedicated areas in the shop. Their ranges will include £25 limited edition pieces to celebrate Cockpit Arts’ 25th Birthday. Designs featuring in the launch collection include bangles by designer Chichi Cavalcanti, a vintage-inspired fabric ‘Lulu’ cat by Terri Leahy and a printed tote bag by Jen Rowland.

Other makers showing  throughout the next year are: Tamasyn Gambell - stationery, interiors and accessories, Naomi Ryder - illustration, textiles and interior products, Helen Johannessen - ceramics, Sarah J Miller - ceramics, Charlotte Sale - glass,  Helen Minns - stationery and interior products, Elisabeth Hamlyn - knitwear,  Jo Heckett – ceramics and Annette Bugansky - ceramics.

Work will be on display  from 1 April so stop by if you’re in the area.
